CCO Patient Orthodontic Treatment in Erina
We want to show you the Orthodontic treatment journey of our 13-year-old patient from Erina. Our patient was referred to us by her general dentist because of an orthodontic problem; she has a deep overbite and moderate upper and lower crowding. An overbite is when the top front teeth expand beyond the bottom front teeth. A minor overbite is a problem that affects a large number of people and typically doesn’t cause issues; however, a more severe overbite can lead to tooth decay, gum disease, and jaw pain. As for our 13-year-old patient, aside from her overbite, she also had crowded teeth that made her upper canines erupt in the wrong position.
